How do you get Windows Live Messenger on the HTC HD2 without entering a mobile number?

I have tried looking for the download on my laptop to send to the phone but I can only find one where you have to enter a mobile number.

I have no SIM card and won't be able to get one today.

What can I do?

It's a software that integrate all your emails and enable you to use more features that the Windows Live messenger. You can read about it in developer website and downlaod it from it if you want

You don't need to download Windows Live Messenger for HD2. It's come with messenger installed. Did you check it?
