How do I transfer my PDF files to my HTC EVO?

I just got it yesterday and I know how to transfer media and music to my Evo, but i don't know how to transfer my pdf files. Can anyone help please? Thanks!
Thanks LoPhat, them are great suggestions! But can It support big files, like about 500 pgs long, like a book? I always went through Stanza on the ipod touch but android doesn't have Stanza app.

I don't have the EVO, but I have a new android phone. Here are a couple of things you can do.
-First, you'll want to look into whether or not you can transfer them over using USB. My Captivate allows me to mount the phone as a portable storage device to my Windows PC.
-Another option is to email the pdf to yourself and get the attachment on your phone.
-A third option, one that I use alot, it to keep my pdf's in google documents. Then I can grab them whenever I want and delete the ones I'm not using on my phone.
If you don't like google docs there is also the Dropbox application that allows you to move or copy files from your computer to an internet storage space. I believe you get 2GB of space free. And they have an android app that allows you to access your Dropbox files from your phone.
Once on your phone there are apps like Adobe Reader and Quick Office that will let you read it.

Update:
Yes it does support big files. I'm currently reading a 440 page book that I uploaded to google docs and then downloaded to my phone. The only problem is that Adobe reader doesn't have a bookmark feature, so if i close the app, I have to scroll all the way down to the last page I was reading. I think the file size on Google Docs is 1 GB. So you should be fine.
