The HTC is going for $ 150 and the Xperia for $ 200. I want one for apps, movies, taking pictures, music, basic web browsing and just basic phone stuff. What's the better android phone between the two?

Better? Sony Ericsson Xperia 10.
Memory: xperia 1GB = 1024MB and desire only 576MB
Screen resolution: xperia 480 x 854 px and desire 480 x 800 px
Camera: xperia 8.1 MP and desire only 5.0 MP
Desire is also great phone but Xperia 10 is better.
