Is the HTC Desire phone being sold in the Netherlands in English?

I am currently in the Netherlands and wanted to buy the HTC Desire phone here. Will the phone work with asian networks and would the interface of the phone be changed to English?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I have an other HTC phone, and seeing the description of the Desire phone I assume you will be alright for English and for Asian networks.

The best you can do is going to a shop where they sell it and ask.
What you have to be aware of is whether it is bound to one provider or not. I paid extra to have my phone 'simlock vrij', without being bound to a provider.

Probably yes.

However, you need to carefully ask for the english version.
Some HTC`s are shipped with one language only. I have a Windows Mobile HTC - and that is set to Dutch only - English can be ordered, but you cannot change the language afterwards.

So, ask, and make sure it can handle English before you buy.

As to networks - sure, as long as you have the correct simcard for the operators in those regions.
