I have an HTC touch and I have had problem after problem. First I had trouble with my T9 disappearing. Then my sms messages would never delete, thus I currently have 20,000 in my phone. And now the top power button won't turn on/off the screen.
Any advice or anyone dealing with the same thing?

Call your carrier support. If the device is not one year old it would be eligible for replacement.
