I was going to get the HTC EVO™ 4G cell phone from sprint but I wanted to know if I could make it a boost mobile phone? I asked a question earlier and received an answer saying you can buy any sprint phone then call somebody to make it boost mobile, is this true? But my main question is can I get the HTC EVO™ 4G for boost mobile?

You can make the phone work on Boost, but it'll be next to useless, because Boost so far only officially supports Blackberry's, NOT Smartphones.
EVO 4G needs data connection to work for most of its features. Without it, it's virtually useless. And since Evo 4G just came out, you have to buy it at full price, or pay the early termination fee. So you end up paying a lot for a phone that's almost useless.

no, you cannot because HTC Evo is a CDMA phones which can only be used on sprint.

I see no reason why you should not be able to use the phone for the phone service, since Boost uses the same Sprint system for the phone service, but the 4G part of the data service should not work. Boost does not provide routing in their network for 4G. So you will have a very pretty and feature packed phone but no real way to access its full potential. Sad.
So, your answer would be: you should be able to, but what is the point?
