I wanted to know what the full price for the htc evo because my i am not elegibal for an upgrade until october 1st 2011. I have not even finished one year of my conract.
Also would it be better for me to just cancell my current conract with sprint and start a new one with the htc evo at $ 200?

Full retail price without renewing contract/without eligible upgrade: Sprint = $ 449, Radioshack = $ 499, Best Buy = $ 599. If you buy from Radioshack or Best Buy they are more expensive, but also have extras they will throw and they give you an instant mail in rebate. Sprint is the cheapest, but gives no extras and you have to deal with the mail in rebate.
Your plan to cancel your contract and then buy the Evo for $ 199.99 is unfortunately flawed. If you cancel service, you will not be considered a new customer for 3 months, which means you cannot get the new customer pricing of $ 199 for three months.
