I use US cellular and they require you to purchase a data plan if you purchase a smart phone. I was wondering if the HTC touch will still have some features that work even if you do not purchase a data plan.

It will probably depend on your service provider. with mine i had to get the smartphone plan with it and i dont even use it for too much data wise except email. i like having all the microsoft apps available when i need them. you would just have to call n ask.
