Okay so you know you can download music/movies from your computer onto your ipod or iphone for free. I was wondering if there is any way i can connect my HTC Evo with my computer and do the same (get free music and movies). If not, is there anyway i can get free music/movies/videos on my Evo for free? If yes, how?

If you download media to your computer, transferring it to the EVO should be trivial. Connect the EVO via USB to your computer and simply move the desired files into the appropriate folders on the phone. I have an HTC Incredible and a Mac, so I can't really give you more detailed instructions on how to go about doing this, but it should be pretty simple. As for getting media directly over the phone, the market has plenty of apps for that. A simple search for "mp3", for instance, yields all sorts of results that can get you music on your phone for free legally (Grooveshark, Pandora, Slacker, etc.) or illegally, if you roll that way.
Here's a quick tip: You can sometimes watch videos (I'm not talking YouTube, but actual videos embedded on websites) over the phone's regular browser. Compatibility varies, but I've been able to watch plenty of flash videos right on my phone. What you can do is find a website that hosts episodes of TV shows or something (legally, of course........) and tune into it on the phone to see if you're able to pick it up. It can be a lot easier than dealing with transferring it and getting it to play on the phone.
