when i delete a message or a message thread on my HTC Hero it freezes.
-the screen either goes black or nothing happens
- i HAVE downloaded the most recent update
- restarting my phone doesn't work ( i have tried alot )
-when i exit out and re-open the message app thing its just white or just says compose message
Can anyone help me find out why this is happening and how to fix it?

I am having the same issue and I tried to delete over 2000 messages and it wouldn't let me. So go to the app store and download "Delete Old messages" app and select any of those options and it should delete them. I am doing it right now.
