I am on the sprint cdma network. I plan on upgrading my palm centro to some phone from HTC as they as sleeker and I would like some of the missing features. I don't mind spending some extra coin for the newer Wifi-enabled touch series phones, but the original touch and mogul are tempting as well! How should I pick a phone? Or should I even stick with my centro?

I think you should get the Touch Diamond HTC it is a good phone.

Well it's kinda hard to say!
In my opinion the Touch Mogul and the original Touch are just horrific, and they have really old versions of Windows Mobile anyway.
If you are dead set on HTC i would definitely recommend either the Touch Pro or Touch Diamond.
The choice between the two is really up to you tho.
The Pro is a little bit thicker, but it packs a slide out keyboard, that in my opinion is way better than the on screen keyboard. Also the pro is a little bit faster, and unlike the Diamond, it has an external SD-card slot for more storage.
Other than that, there really is no difference except for the color on the back. They both have 3.2 MP Camera's and they look almost exactly the same from the front.
However, i like the GSM versions better... On the back, it is black and multi-faceted... It is a nice finish.
The one phone that is a must have, however, from HTC and beats out all the other phones combined is the HTC Touch HD... The Screen extends all the way to the bottom of the Phone, the resolution is virtually HD... what more could you want??? The bad part is that they are only releasing it in Europe... :'(
