I would like to set up my HTC Droid Eris to pull my yahoo email automatically, without having to check my email via a browser connection every time.

Isn't there an "Email" app in the phone, next to the Gmail app? Use that.

If you got the latest upgrade (to Android 2.0) then you should have no problem just logging in through the mail application thing. It was seriously IMPOSSIBLE before the upgrade (because google hates yahoo i suppose) but they support it now. That was one of the benefits of the update. I just logged in today and within a few seconds it had uploaded my inbox and everything. Good Luck! :) I feel your pain.
What do you think? Answer below!
